According to Nielsen Korea, the JTBC drama's episode 1 garnered a nationwide viewership rating of 6.1 percent while 6.7 percent in metropolitan areas.
Interestingly, "Reborn Rich" episode 1 landed the highest viewership rating for JTBC K-drama aired this 2022 for a pilot episode.
It only means that viewers patiently wait to see Song Joong Ki, along with the roster of talented stars on the small screen.
Is Song Joong Ki's Drama 'Reborn Rich' Worth the Watch?
Based on the web novel "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate," the JTBC series is directed by "Jeong Dae Yun, who is the genius behind the hit K-dramas such as "King2Hearts," "She was Pretty," "W," and "I Am Not a Robot."
"Reborn Rich'' follows the story of Soonyang Group's loyal employee Yoon Hyun Woo, played by the South Korean heartthrob, who devoted his years of service to the company and its families.
However, he was reborn as the Jin family's youngest son named Jin Do Joon, after being framed for embezzlement and murdered by one of the company's heirs.
Living a new life and identity, he will use this as his revenge and his mission to take over the conglomerate.
In the drama, Lee Sung Min plays Soonyang's founder Jin yang Chul while Shin Hyun Bin took the role of Prosecutor Seo Min Young.
