Rising actor Moon Sang Min, who currently stars in tvN's trending drama "Under The Queen's Umbrella," suffers from an injury while filming.

Moon Sang Min Undergo Surgery After Acquiring Injury on Set of 'Under The Queen's Umbrella'

In a news article cited by Newsen on November 21, it was revealed that Moon Sang Min was injured when filming one of the action scenes in the drama "Under The Queen's Umbrella."

In addition to the report, the actor's agency Awesome Entertainment released a statement confirming that Sang Min had a suture operation because the lower part of his left eye was torn while filming the series at the end of October.

Meanwhile, Moon Sang Min said, "At that time, I was busy with the last shooting, so I watched the progress for a few days and returned to the scene."

He added that he is still receiving scar treatment for his wound to be healed.

Currently gaining huge popularity with viewers, tvN's historical series "Under The Queen's Umbrella" is already near its finale but new interesting plots keep on coming every week.

In the drama, Moon Sang Min plays the character of Grand Prince Seongnam. Though it is just his second screen project since his debut, the rookie star is receiving a positive response from the viewers for his performance.

Moon Sang Min entered the entertainment industry in 2019.

He starred in the series "4 Reasons Why I Hate Christmas." The following year, he joined the cast of "The Colors of Our Time" and "The Mermaid Prince: The Beginning."

In 2021, he made his small screen comeback in Netflix's original drama "My Name," alongside Han So Hee and Ahn Bo Hyun.

Furthermore, aside from "Under The Queen's Umbrella," Moon Sang Min might star again in a new series called "Duty After School."
