Lee Min Ho To Begin Filming ‘Pachinko’ Season 2 in THIS Month
Lee Min Ho is about to make his comeback on the small screen with Gong Hyo Jin. The Hallyu superstar is expected to have a busy schedule in 2023 to film "Pachinko" Season 2.
Recently, Hallyu stars Song Joong Ki, Kim Soo Hyun, and Park Bo Gum have been stretching their activities one after another, and Lee Min Ho has also joined this lineup of A-listers.
He will release a series of dramas namely "Ask the Stars" and "Pachinko," in the upcoming months.
Lee Min Ho To Head To Vancouver For the Filming of 'Pachinko' Season 2
Ahead of his comeback, Lee Min Ho delivered good news on November 24. It was confirmed that the K-heartthrob will start filming for "Pachinko" Season 2 at the beginning of 2023.
Particularly, the actor is scheduled to visit Vancouver, Canada in January for the first shooting location of the series.
Youn Yuh Jung and Kim Min Ha, who are the main characters in season 1, will also participate in the second installment of the series.
It has been said that the production team will also film in Japan. Lee Min Ho is expected to immediately join filming after completing all his scenes in "Ask the Stars," which has recently entered its final stage.
"Pachinko," which premiered on Apple TV+ in March 2022, became mega-popular overseas as it depicts the lives of four Korean immigrant families.
In particular, Lee Min Ho was successful in transforming his image through this drama. He plays a character who is a businessman full of ambition and falls in love with Sun Ja, played by Kim Min Ha.

On the other hand, "Ask the Stars," which Lee Min Ho is also currently filming, is also considered one of the highly-anticipated works among domestic and foreign viewers.
In the drama set in a spaceship, "The Heirs" lead actor plays an obstetrician who joined the space trip after paying astronomical sums.
