Many K-drama fans know that Jung So Min's longest relationship was with Lee Joon, her co-star in "Father Is Stranger."
The two became a couple in October 2017 after establishing positive feelings for one another. Because of their compatibility, Jung So Min and Lee Joon were together for three long years.
In 2020, Jung So Min and Lee Joon's agencies, Blossom Entertainment and Prain TPC, confirmed that the two have broken up due to schedule conflicts.
As they spent a lot of time alone due to busy schedules, Jung So Min and Lee Joon were reported to have grown apart from one another.

Despite it all, Jung So Min and Lee Joon decided to remain on good terms and cheer each other on as fellow actors.

After breaking up with ex-boyfriend Lee Joon, Jung So Min is now more focused on her career. In a special guest appearance on SBS TV's "My Little Old Boy," the actress talked about her dating preferences and ideal type.
Jung So Min is a person of her own hence, she loves to spend most of her time alone. If she's in a relationship, she admitted that she'd prefer to be alone sometimes, giving respect to her and her lover's personal spaces.
"I believe we need to have our own alone time to rediscover ourselves, and grow emotionally," the actress reasoned. "We also allow ourselves to regenerate on our own. For me, it's the most rewarding."

However, Jung So Min still believes that spending quality time with a significant other is an essential part of a relationship.

Jung So Min recently starred in the first part of tvN's magical series "Alchemy of Souls." She also headlined the sci-fi action thriller film "Project Wolf Hunting" with Seo In Guk.
