What We Know So Far About The Possible Drama Comeback of Park Shin Hye

The medical series "Doctor Slump" tells the story of doctors who are in a slump as they make an effort to resuscitate their lives. Meanwhile, the rom-com genre of the drama will revolve around the love and growth of two characters who live on a rooftop after resigning from their jobs as medical professionals.

Park Shin Hye is being courted to portray Nam Ha Neul. She runs out of the hospital after being burned by a medical professor.

Opposite her, Park Hyung Sik has been offered to play Yeo Jung Woo, a successful plastic surgeon who was caught up in a medical accident and went bankrupt.

In the past, they were high school rivals who competed for the top spot in the school; ran out of the hospital, met as neighbors in a rooftop house, and embraced each other's pain.

In addition, the script will be penned by "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" writer Baek Seon Woo and is in discussion to be released on Netflix in October 2023.

"Doctor Slump" might be Park Shin Hye's first comeback in two years since JTBC's "Sisyphus: The Myth." She became a full-time mother to a healthy son in May after marrying Choi Tae Joon, an actor of the same age as her, in January after dating for four years.

Even though she has not been able to work for a while due to marriage and pregnancy, it is rumored that she is preparing to be back in the entertainment spotlight.

In other news, Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon were recently spotted having a double date with celebrity couple Jung Kyung Ho and SNSD's Sooyoung.
