Jung Hae In talked about his filming struggles for his forthcoming series "Connect" with Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Hye Jun.

The new Disney+ project marks Jung Hae In and Go Kyung Pyo's second work together, whilst their first together Kim Hye Jun.

Jung Hae In Shares 'Connect' Filming Struggles

Ahead of its long-awaited premiere, Jung Hae In, Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Hye Jun sat down to share their thoughts and struggles during their filming for the revenge action film "Connect"!

The Disney+ series follows the story of a man whose eye was stolen by organ hunters, and was transplanted into a serial killer, causing a huge uprising in South Korea.

Jung Hae In portrays Dong Soo, a humanoid whose eye gets stolen by "Connect" while Go Kyung Pyo plays the role of Jin Seob, a serial killer who receives Dong Soo's eye.

Prior to its premiere, Disney+ Korea released a short video on their official YouTube channel featuring the main cast of the series. Jung Hae In shared his struggles with his two co-stars Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Hye Jun.

They were asked which eye of Dong Soo had been covered with a patch and the three of them answered it correctly.

Jung Hae In shared an anecdote, saying that he tried to put an eyepatch in both eyes. However, he settled to put it on his right eye due to his worsening eyesight.

"I tried to see everything with my left eye but my eyesight was getting really bad," Jung Hae In reasoned. "I couldn't do the action scenes properly since the distance feels so near when it's not, so I settled to put the eyepatch on my right eye."

Kim Hye Jun, who was worried about her co-star, asked if he was feeling okay. Thankfully, Jung Hae In has recovered, and has even his eyes checked by professionals.

Meanwhile, the two of them also teased Go Kyung Pyo for his adorable appearance in "Connect" despite playing the role of a psychopath.

Go Kyung Pyo Reveals Putting On Weight For New Acting Role

Go Kyung Pyo has also prepared a lot for his new role in "Connect." Like some of the actors in the industry, he's one of the actors who was asked to gain weight in order to portray his role better.

Miike Takashi, the Japanese director of "Connect," shared that he wants to show that psychopaths can look like normal people you see in real life.

"When you think of a psychopath, you would usually think of a skinny body with bloodshot eyes. Go Kyung Pyo transformed into a slightly chubby and almost adorable psychopath," the director shared.

The director revealed that he would check his neck every morning to see how much Go Kyung Pyo had gained. Meanwhile, the actor revealed that his role in "Connect" is by far the most difficult.

"This is the first time I've expressed such a character. It's a challenge," Go Kyung Pyo confessed.

"Connect" guarantees an action-filled watching experience that will satisfy the viewers' expectations. Catch the series on December 7 on Disney+ Korea!
