tvN's "Twenty Five, Twenty One," starring Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri, received a new trophy at the AACA in Singapore.

3 K-Dramas Under Studio Dragon Receive Awards at the AACA

Studio Dragon won three gold medals at Singapore's AACA (Asian Academy Creative Awards) held on December 7 and 8.

Following "Yumi's Cells," "Twenty Five, Twenty One" and "Our Blues" took home awards on the last day of the ceremony.

Asian Academy Creative Awards is held in Singapore every December. It is Asia's largest content awards ceremony that reviews and recognizes the Asian content market every year. Due to the global pandemic, the event was held online for the past two years.

However, producers from various countries, such as Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Japan, Cambodia, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand, gathered this 2022.

'Twenty Five, Twenty One' Bags Best Drama Series Award

After thorough deliberation, "Twenty Five, Twenty One" won the Best Drama Series. It is a refreshing romance following the wandering and growth of young people who were deprived of their dreams by the times in 1998.

This drama was loved by viewers not just in Korea but also abroad. To recall, Studio Dragon's "Crash Landing on You" won the same title in 2020.

'Our Blues' Wins Best Screenplay

Meanwhile, "Our Blues" by Noh Hee Kyung won the Best Screenplay. It follows the bitter and sweet life of people living, at the end, peak, and beginning of their lives. This drama drew favorable reviews, making viewers cry and laugh throughout the episodes.

Head of Studio Dragon, Kim Sung Min, shared the honor of winning the award on the day of the ceremony by saying, "It is an honor to receive the award here on behalf of writer Noh Hee Kyung. Thank you for the warm heart of our writer."

He concluded his speech by mentioning he will continue to make more good dramas in the future.

Kim Go Eun's 'Yumi's Cells' Beats Seven Asian Dramas for the Best Original Programme Award

Previously, Kim Go Eun's "Yumi's Cells" took home the Best Original Programme by a Streamer outshining several dramas in Asia such as "Mumbai Diaries" from India, "Still" from the Philippines, "Wannabe" from Thailand, "Identiti" from Singapore, "The Rap of China" from China, "Seribu Nina" from Malaysia, and "Ghost Cleansing Ltd" from Hong Kong.
