After the king banned marriage in the kingdom, lots of people, particularly parents were angered by the news. However, Ye So Rang (Park Ju Hyun) used this as an opportunity to make money and became a love messenger to those who want to find their partners.
Though it was a crime and went in and out of jail, So Rang was determined to help others fulfill their desires.

Meanwhile, Lee Heon (Kim Young Dae) and Lee Shin Won (Kim Woo Suk), who discovered So Rang's business went to spy on her. They were suspicious of her behavior. Lee Heon got angered by So Rang's fortune-telling and called his people to raid the place.

Due to what happened Kim Sul Rok (Kim Min Sang) suggested keeping So Rang as she might be a big help to overcome Lee Heon's sorrow towards the late crown princess. That night, So Rang was freed, and Shin Won escorted her to her room.
