Idol-turned actor Hwang Minhyun proved his skills with his immersive acting performance as Seo Yul in the magical romance series "Alchemy of Souls."
The series follows the stories of powerful mages whose fates are twisted due to a sorcery that shifts people's souls. Recently, the drama returned with its second half, delivering a worthwhile watching experience every weekend.
Hwang Minhyun receives high praises for his acting in the series, which is almost at par with the veteran stars in the show. With this, he received the Best Acting Performance award at the 2022 Asia Artist Award.
Apart from that, he was named as the new rising star of 2022, taking home the New Wave Award in the Actors category.
