MBC released Kim Jung Hyun's first-ever character stills for his comeback drama "The Season of Kkokdu" following two years of hiatus.

Kim Jung Hyun transformed into an absolute existence that transcends life and death in the newly-unveiled stills of MBC's upcoming series "The Season of Kkokdu."

The fantasy-romance drama follows the story of Kkokdu, who will be sent to earth in his 99 years to punish humans. He meets a doctor with mysterious abilities, Han Gye Jeol.

Kim Jung Hyun takes the role of Kkokdu, the god of the underworld who supervises the road to the underworld, and in the modern world transforms into Do Jin Woo, a surgical professor at Pilseong Hospital.

He is expected to present a variety of emotions to the viewers by digesting two roles. Attention is focused on how the actor, who has showcased three-dimensional characters in his past works, will tell the story of two completely different characters.
