The cast of Netflix's "The Glory" including Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon dished out their honest impressions of the drama prior to its much anticipated premiere.

In addition to that, the production crew of the work also addresses the concerns over the drama's rated 19+ announcement.

Song Hye Kyo Reveals Honest Feelings About 'The Glory'

The cast of the new Netflix series "The Glory" including Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon dish out their raw thoughts on the drama!

"The Glory" tells the story of a homeroom teacher to students whose parents made her life a living hell. Through the proximity, she will execute her revenge plan without any hassle.

In the series, Song Hye Kyo transforms into Moon Dong Eun, a former victim of school violence while Lee Do Hyun takes on the role of Ju Yeo Jeong, a plastic surgeon who's willing to help her with her plans.

Song Hye Kyo and screenwriter Kim Eun Sook previously worked together in "Descendants of the Sun" and because of this, the actress willingly accepted the offer.

Apart from that, she confesses that the revenge genre and anti-heroine role are some of the things she wanted to do for a very long time.

"Moon Dong Eun is a woman with a broken soul. She doesn't have anyone but herself," Song Hye Kyo stated. "Once she believed she deserved to live, she planned to plot revenge on those who bullied her."

Meanwhile, Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon grew curious about the work after reading the script, which drew them to participate in the project.

Ju Yeo Jung, unlike Moon Dong Eun, lived a bright life. How he changes when he meets Moon Dong Eun will become one of the highlights of the show.

In addition to that, Lim Ji Yeon is another actress who will portray a villain for the first time. In the series, she plays the role of Park Yeon Jin, a schoolmate who tormented Moon Dong Eun.

However, she was born with a golden spoon in her mouth. She grew up in an environment in which she got anything she wanted.

Lim Ji Yeon's character never knew how to feel remorse nor sadness for somebody else. On the other hand, Kim Eun Sook - whose work never failed to wow them - is also one of the reasons why Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon accepted the work.

The synchronization rate of the actors with their characters is over 120%, according to Director Ahn Gil Ho, which intensifies fans' expectations.

"The Glory" releases all eight episodes of Part 1 on December 30, which sequentially follows Part 2 in March.

'The Glory' Stirs Buzz For Being Rated 19+

Before the Netflix series premieres, "The Glory" sparks discussion for its rated 19+ themes.

Writer Kim Eun Sook reveals that school violence is a topic that hits close to home as she's a parent to a young child.

"The idea came to me when my daughter asked if I'd be hurt more if she beats someone to death or if she gets beat to death," Kim Eun Sook stated. "This is how "The Glory" began."

The title was coined when people lose everything after committing violence like honor, dignity and glory.
