Director Pyeon Talks About Cha Eun Woo's True Personality & Work Ethics

ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo has been booked and busy this 2022. With a number of projects, the idol-actor worked in different parts of the entertainment industry. From stage performances and dramas, jumping to pictorials and radio guestings, it's inevitable that the Hallyu star feel tired from too much work.

But a director, in her recent outlet interview, talked about the celebrity and revealed his true personality.

PD Pyeon Eun Ji, who participated in the KBS2 Seoul Festa 2022 Opening Performance in August, exposed what it was like working with the idol-actor. She shared in a recent magazine interview, her first time meeting Cha Eun Woo, who was also present at the event.

The heartthrob was in charge of hosting the show at that time. According to the director, Cha Eun Woo greeted her first with a bright appearance despite working non-stop with his packed schedule.

Director Pyeon shared that if anyone is busy and tired, saying hello first is already a kind gesture to show. She then remembered the time when she briefed Cha Eun Woo that the live broadcast had been replaced with a recorded broadcast. She was surprised by the idol-actor's response during the script reading.

Cha Eun Woo said, "Is it real? Mom said she would watch the live broadcast because she missed me, but I should tell her again."

Pyeon PD was impressed by how kind-hearted the actor is.

Cha Eun Woo's Professionalism Praised

As someone who is literally a K-pop star and working under K-pop related events, Cha Eun Woo might deem the show boring. But to the director's surprise, the ASTRO member was still excited to work.

In addition, the director lauded the "Decibel" star's sincere attitude.

Despite the chaotic atmosphere during the actual recording, Cha Eun Woo stayed professional. He concentrated and politely asked questions.

One more thing that fascinated Director Pyeon was Cha Eun Woo's behavior in the latter half of the recording.

She was concerned that the male star's hair and makeup would be ruined since it was raining at that time. The editorial producer even suggested that Cha Eun Woo can use an umbrella while waiting and just throw it on the floor when she finally cues a sign.

But instead of throwing it, Cha Eun Woo remained calm and handled the situation smoothly. He ended the recording with a smile.

After working with the actor, PD complimented Cha Eun Woo for his kind attitude.
