After months of in talks, Namgoong Min and the actress confirmed their appearance and will now headline the MBC series.
With Namgoong Min's new drama, he will transform into a mysterious man named Lee Jang Hyun, who became one of the influential people at Neunggeun Village.
It comes after Lee Jang Hyun gets caught up in a twisted fate, following an unimaginable tragedy, leaving him uninterested in life.

Just one month after "One Dollar Lawyer" aired its finale, the award-winning star is back on set.
On Namgoong Min's Instagram, he shared a glimpse of his life, teasing viewers with an update on his new project.
The award-winning star posted a script for the upcoming drama "Lovers" along with a caption that reads, "Let's go! Let's go!"
With this, netizens were impressed with the actor working one K-drama after the other and starring in new projects without rest.
In addition, some also mentioned how they are excited to see Namgoong Min star in historical K-drama and are looking forward to his role.
Helmed by "The Veil" and "My Healing Love" director Kim Sung Yong, "Lovers" is a historical romance drama that depicts the story of a man who was convinced that he will not fall in love not until he met the love of his life.
Based on Namgoong Min's Instagram, the series has started its production while previous reports say "Lovers" is scheduled to air in the first half of 2023.
Namgoong Min Predicted to Win Another Daesang
While "One Dollar Lawyer" concluded the season successfully, viewers hoped that Namgoong Min will win another Daesang or grand prize award at the 2022 SBS Drama Awards.

To recall, Namgoong Min has taken home the daesang award in the 2021 MBC Drama Awards for his performance in "The Veil" and the same category during the 2020 SBS Drama Awards for his role in "Hot Stove League."
