Siwon Gains Recognition For His Acting and Character Transformation in 'Work Later, Drink Now 2'

In the previous episodes of TVING's "Work Later, Drink Now 2," the production released Siwon's character stills. The singer-actor plays the role of Kang Buk Gu, an entertainment producer-director working in the same department as Ahn So Hee (Lee Sun Bin), a television scriptwriter.

The idol-actor is getting an enthusiastic response from viewers with his performance that showed his proficiency in the comedy and romance genres. In particular, Siwon made a buzz for his previous drama scene.

In "Work Later, Drink Now 2" episode 7, the actor drew attention by portraying the flashback scene of Kang Buk Gu as an obese man with over 100kg of weight. Aside from that, he also perfectly exhibited the anxious and precarious emotions of a character who went through a dark family history, which drew sympathy from the audience.

It has been said that the heartthrob prepared special makeup to express the dark past of his character Kang Buk Gu and provided no effort to flawlessly digest the character externally, such as coordinating the production costume for 3 hours on the day of shooting.
