Do Sang Woo Continues To Dominate Small Screen With 'Oasis'

With his polarizing role in "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow," Do Sang Woo jumps onto another work and partners with Seol In Ah and Jang Dong Yoon!

In "Oasis," Jang Dong Yoon takes on the role of Lee Doo Hak, a poor high school student who falls in love with a transferee named Oh Jung Shin, played by Seol In Ah.

The new KBS series, which is set in the early 1990s in South Korea, tells the stories of young adults who experience the extremes of life while maintaining their relationships and dreams.

Do Sang Woo transforms into a character that he has never shown in any works before and joins the cast as Kim Hyung Joo, a person whom Lee Doo Hak unexpectedly met and became loyal to him.

Amidst their struggles in achieving their dreams, fate begins to play with them as society crumbles down right before their eyes, making them endure the hardships in an era of pain and sacrifices.

Currently, Do Sang Woo stars in Go Yoon Jung and Lee Jae Wook's "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" as a mage from a powerful family, boasting his cider-like aura and top notch visuals.

Like many other stars, Do Sang Woo has a wide filmography under his belt, consisting of dramas with both historical and modern genres.

Prior to "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow," Do Sang Woo starred in Ahn Eun Jin, Red Velvet Joy and Kang Ye Won's melodrama "The One and Only" as a detective.

The actor also made a cameo appearance in Lee Se Young and Lee Junho's "The Red Sleeve" as Crown Prince Sado, the second son of King Yeongjo of Joseon.

Do Sang Woo also appeared in SBS TV's "Backstreet Rookie," TV Chosun's "Queen: Love and War," tvN's "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes" and more.

In particular, the actor gained immense popularity after he appeared as Gong Hyo Jin's ex-boyfriend in the internationally acclaimed drama "It's Okay, That's Love."
