The Interest of Love Kdrama

Before ending 2022, Moon Ga Young starred in her latest K-drama "The Interest of Love" along with "Hospital Playlist" actor Yoo Yeon Seok.

The series delivers a very relatable situation in an office setup and also illustrates workplace romances and how complicated things get.

Joining Moon Ga Young and Yoo Yeon Seok as lead stars are Geum Sae Rok and Jung Ga Ram.

However, despite the series airing 6 episodes, "The Interest of Love" failed to reach high viewership ratings.

Does Moon Ga Young's 'Lack the Eye to See a Great Script' as 'The Interest of Love' Continues With Low Viewership?

With the romance drama airing six episodes, the highest viewership of "The Interest of Love" was during its pilot episode as the series garnered a 3.124 percent for nationwide rating.

Unfortunately, the drama dipped to its lowest after scoring 1.898 percent for episode 2.

As for its succeeding episodes, the Moon Ga Young and Yoo Yeon Seok-led K-drama maintain more than 2 percent viewership.

Due to this, a media outlet pointed out that the top star has been getting low ratings K-dramas after the huge success of the 2020 rom-com "True Beauty."

Although the JTBC series didn't get a double-digit rating for any of its episodes, there's no denying that the series with Cha Eun Woo garnered the attention of viewers both locally and internationally.

In the series, Moon Ga Young looked unrecognizable as she transformed into her character, a nerdy student anmed Lim Joo Gyung, who dons thick glasses and bushy brows.

However, since then, the top star began starring in low-rating K-dramas. First, is her small screen comeback "Recipe for Youth" with Kim Hee Chul followed by "Link: Eat, Love, Kill" together with Yeo Jin Goo which only ended 2.228 percent.

With her chosen series, the outlet says that Moon Ga Young was stuck in the 1 percent rating range and "lacks the eye to see a great script"

Despite Moon Ga Young's recent drama list scoring flop ratings, some were hopeful that "The Interest of Love" will break the curse or if not, the top star will soon headline a popular K-drama that will get viewers hooked with every episode.
