The Netflix reality dating show is back with a bolder and more dramatic season with a new round of 12 participants entering the island with hopes of finding a genuine connection.
Interestingly, the show's newcomer, Kim Se Jun instantly captivates the hearts of viewers after his interaction with Lee So E.

Interestingly, as part of the show, he gets to pick a fellow participant he wants to go to Paradise with. However, his decision stunned not just his cast members but also Lee So E after Kim Se Jun picked her as his date.
In one episode, Kim Jin Young expressed how surprised he is saying that Se Jun's choice was quite unpredictable.
It was because he previously mentioned that his ideal type was a smart-looking woman, however, he gets to pick the total opposite with Lee So E is quite reserved and innocent looking.
Interestingly, Kim Se Jun confessed that he is curious to know more about Lee So E. To recall, upon Se Jun joining the island, it was her who made him feel comfortable and talked to him first.

Interestingly, his interaction with Lee So E also gained attention from the netizens, one of which is during their trip to Paradise.
While riding the helicopter, Kim Se Jun saw Lee So E who seemed to be scared of heights; however, what he did was he held his hands and treated her with kindness and thoughtfulness throughout the journey.
In addition, viewers also praised Se Jun for being open-minded.
Although Lee So E did not pick him as her date to Paradise, Se Jun said "I like it when she does the right thing for her."
