According to Neilsen Korea, "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2" episode 2 garnered an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent.
It is a slight drop from its previous episode of 3.7 percent.
"Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2" episode 3 will air on January 18 through tvN and Viu TV.

The second episode began with the King showing bizarre attitude and claimed that he is seing the ghost of his former counsel, Cho Tae Hyak.
He was afraid that he might be loosing his mind so he asked help of Yoo Se Poong and Kye Ji Han to help and tyhe palace who is also suffering almost the same symptoms.
With this, Yoo Se Poong has teamed up with Seo Eun Woo to investigate the reason behind thge pandemic.
To recall, they believe that it is not caused naturally but speculates that the plague was due to poison.
True enough after a throrough probe, Seo Eun Woo found out that a deadly herbal similar to lilies where used as the main ingredient and saw the highly poisonous plant drenched at the well.

Yoo Se Poong has requested officials to close the well for the time being to prevent locals and courtmaids to use it.
As for the King's health condition, the royal is displaying worsening symptoms, prompting his aide and the counsel to worry. This sparks controversy that the young royal doesnt have the capability to lead a nation.
Interestingly, Yoo Se Poong planed something to help them track the traitor who has been decieving the King.
He asked the royal to potent that his health condition are getting worse and so he did.
The King together with his royal guards found out that the traitor was his right hand, pointing out that he is among the loyalist of the latest counselor, Cho tae Hyak.
