The coming-of-age series is among the most-watched K-dramas in 2015 and interestingly, it is still one of the most beloved series of all time.
Directed by Shin Won Ho, it is an installment of the famous "Reply" series that initially aired in 2012.
"Reply 1988," which stars Park Bo Gum, Lee Hyeri, Go Kyung Pyo, Ryu Jun Yeol, and Lee Dong Hwi, the cast reunited once again and delighted fans with a heartwarming snap.
'Reply 1988' Cast' Reunion Lauded by Fans
On Lee Dong Hwi's Instagram, the actor shared the much-awaited reunion featuring the "Reply 1988" cast, along with Director Shin Won Ho.
With the caption "88 I love you, and you know how I feel, right? Ditto," Park Bo Gum, Girl's Day's Hyeri, Ryu Jun Yeol, Go Kyung Pyo, Lee Min Ji, Ryu Hye Young, and Choi Sung Won were all smiles at their mini get-together.
With this surprising treat to fans, viewers were thrilled to see the actors in one frame.
On the other hand, netizens mentioned how the show deserved a second season and are looking forward to a possible sequel.
Interestingly besides the "Reply 1988" cast, actors and the director of "Reply 1994" also reunited to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary.

Welcoming 2023, the cast featuring Jung Woo, Go Ara, Baro, Yoo Yeon Seok, Son Ho Jun, Kim Sung Kyun, and Min Dohee along with Shin Won Ho post for a photo to celebrate their milestone.
On Instagram, Baro wrote, "It is already almost 10 years. I'm always so happy to see our 'Reply 1994' family!! Even though it has been a while since we last met, we are still as [passionate] as ever."
Current and Upcoming Projects of 'Reply 1988' Cast'
Like the previous "Reply" series, the third installment captured the viewers' hearts through its nostalgic story and amazing cast lineup.
Choi Sung Won, who played the role of Lee Hyeri's brother, made his K-drama comeback and appeared in "From Now On, Showtime!" after receiving treatment for leukemia.
The same goes for Park bo Gum who also returned to the small screen after successfully completing his military service.
After the star-studded variety show, he is set to headline an upcoming series "Life" with IU.
On the other hand, Lee Dong Hwi is booked and busy with multiple appearances in movies and K-dramas including "Maybe We Broke Up" and "The Roundup: Punishment."
As for couple Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol, the actress starred in the recently concluded drama "May I Help You" while Ryu Jun Yeol headlined "Alienoid" and is set to return in part 2.
