Kim Go Eun Postpones Overseas Schedule as She Mourns For Na Chul's Passing

Known for being diligent and passionate about her work, Kim Go Eun always makes sure to attend to her engagements in the entertainment industry. However, on January 21, things turned different for the actress.

On the said day, she was about to make her way to the airport to go for one of her overseas schedules.

Unfortunately, upon hearing the news that her co-star and real-life friend Na Chul passed away, Kim Go Eun immediately canceled her flight as she mourned her friend's passing.

Besides postponing her work schedule, the "Goblin" lead star expressed her condolences to the late actor and shared some of his photos on Instagram.

Along with the snaps is the caption that reads, "The coolest actor Na Chul. The most amazing man, dad, husband, son, and friend."

Kim Go Eun worked with the late actor in the 2019 romantic movie "Tune in for Love."

The two reunited in 2022 through the series "Little Women." Though they only got to work with each other for a short period of time, the actress already established a close friendship with Na Chul.

To recall, Na Chul made his appearance in "Little Women" and portrayed the role of a public attorney, who is in charge of Oh In Joo, Kim Go Eun's character. It also showcased his loyalty to director Kim Hee Won, whom he first collaborated with in the hit legal-comedy drama "Vincenzo" in 2021.

Various media outlets shocked the public after announcing the sudden passing of the late Na Chul. According to the report, the K-Drama actor passed away at the age of 36 while receiving treatment for his health deterioration.

In addition to the news, a mortuary was set up at the funeral hall of Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Seoul.

Na Chul made his debut in the play "Anne's Diary" in 2010. Since then, he continued working in the entertainment industry. Later on, he gained recognition after appearing in several works such as "1987: When the Day Comes," Extreme Jobs," "Along with the Gods," "Stranger 2," "Touch Your Heart," "Vincenzo," "D.P," "Through the Darkness," "Happiness," "Jirisan," "Hospital Playlist 2," "Little Women" and more.

Recently, Na Chul starred in the trending webtoon-based K-drama "Weak Hero Class 1," where he played the villain role of Kim Gil Soo. Despite his short appearance, the late actor left a deep impression on viewers through his outstanding performance.
