Kim Min Jae and the Gyesoo Clinic were able to overcome another challenge as "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2" episode 5 featured how they help the royal heal from her past.
Based on the webtoon of the same name the tvN series depicts the story of Yoo Se Poong, played by Kim Min Jae, and his journey as a skilled physician.
Joining him in the second season is Seo Eun Woo, played by Kim Hyang Gi who decides to study medicine along with Kye Ji Han played by Kim Sang Kyung.
As things get interesting with Yoo Se Poong, Lady Seo Eun Woo, Kye Ji Han and more, the historcial medial K-drama managed to bounce back from a slight dip for its previous episode.

According to Neilsen Korea, "Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist 2" episode 5 garnered an average viewership rating of 3.2 percent.
It is a minimal increase from its previous viewership after falling short by 2.275 percent.
With this, the weekday drama struggles to beat its personal best of 3.682 for its pilot episode.

The fifth episode showcases a series of highlights in "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2" specifically Yoo Se Poong's connection with Princess Seo Yi.
The episode starts with the royal threatening Lady Seo about Yoo Se Poong; however, Seo Eun Woo pointed out that Yoo Se Poong's heart doesn't belong to someone else but himself which made the Princess furious.
On the other hand, Yoo Se Poong heard the conversation but what struck him the most is Seo Eun Woo's remark about leaving Gyesoo Clinic as soon as Yoo Se Poong could do acupuncture.

Here, he found out that she is set to marry the Commissioner's son but didn't show up on her wedding day.
Interestingly, the Commissioner's son fully cooperated with them as they guide him on how to deal with the Princess' attitude.
With his determination to build his relationship again, he and the Gyesoo Cliic team planned on how they will convince the Princess.
Unfortunately, the plan failed but Yoo Se Poong made Princess Seo Yi realize how the Commisionaer's son feel about her.
