Quite a few celebrities had dating scandals this year. Some of the scandals turned out to be nothing but rumors but a few were confirmed. Some celebrities openly admitted that they were dating from the start and had happy endings, while some that tried to hide their relationships did not.

Because Suzy enjoyed success in her drama "Gu Family Book," she was the subject of a few dating rumors, including one that started when she was seen walking with her "Gu Family Book" co-star Sung Joon. He was dating aspiring actress Kim Do Yeon and his agency suggested they keep their relationship secret. But fans found out and got mean. They threw rocks at her car and trash in front of her office. Finally, she had to confess that they had dated for four months, but the fans' actions did not help their relationship.

Such incidents may be one reason that actors Kim Bum and Moon Geun Young decided to start off being honest about their relationship. The two met on the set of "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji." Shortly after the end of the drama, the two announced they were dating. Fans were shocked but calmed down pretty quickly and wished the couple well. They departed for a month-long trip in Europe and recently returned holding hands.
