THIS ‘Alchemy of Souls’ Stars is in Talks to Team Up with Seo In Guk & Park So Dam

After "Alchemy of Souls," Goo Yoon Jung is courted to headline an interesting K-drama along with Seo In Guk and Park So Dam.

The 26-year-old beauty skyrocketed her fame after landing the role of Naksu in the romantic-fantasy series.

Following the ending of the show's season 2, Goo Yoon Jung is offered to star in a webtoon based drama fantasy series, "Death's Game."

Goo Yoon Jung Courted to Star in Another Fantasy K-drama

In an exclusive report cited by News 1 Korea, the actress' agency confirmed that they have received an offer to play a main character in "Death's Game."

With this, they are "positively reviewing" Goo Yoon Jung's appearance as she is set to join the cast together with Seo In Guk and Park So Dam.

"Death's Game" is a fantasy reincarnation drama that depicts the journey of a man after receiving a second chance at life.

However, because of his attempt to end his own life, he was punished to experience death over and over again.

As for Go Yoon Jung's role, officials are yet to confirm the character she is set to play.

On the other hand, if she accepts the offer, "Death's Game" will be among her upcoming projects for 2023.

What's Next for Go Yoon Jung?

Viewers might recognize the 26-year-old beauty in various hit K-dramas.

Go Yoon Jung played supporting roles in "He Is Psychometric" and Netflix's "Sweet Home" along with Song Kang and Lee Jin Wook, as well as the crime drama "Law School" with Kim Bum.

However, she gained significant popularity for playing the character of a notorious assassin named Naksu in "Alchemy of Souls."

Interestingly, due to the public's demand, the series returned with a sequel, hence "Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow" was released.

Now that the drama concluded its second season, all eyes are now on Go Yoon Jung's next project.

Besides her upcoming K-drama, she will also be joining the star-studded cast of "Moving" an action thriller series headlined by Jo In Sung, Han Hyo Joo, Ryu Seung Ryong, and more.

The superhero action drama is based on the webtoon of the same name written by Kang Full. It depicts a story about teenagers with supernatural powers.

Due to their unique abilities, they team up to fight dark forces.

In the upcoming series, Go Yoon Jung plays Jang Hee Soo, who has excellent athletic abilities. Apart from it, she can also recover from injuries in an instant.

"Moving" is a 20-part episode K-drama set to be released sometime this 2023.
