After ending the season with a successful finale, SBS officially announced the return of the thriller-crime series headed by the anti-hero Kim Do Ki.
From show-stopping scenes and soaring ratings in season 1, viewers are looking forward to the much-awaited comeback of the group along with its new characters.
'Taxi Driver 2' Cast
Based on the webtoon "The Deluxe Taxi" the SBS series follows the story of a secret organization whose mission is to avenge the victims that the law wasn't able to defend.
In the thriller-crime series, the organization is led by Chairman Jang Sung Chul, played by Kim Eui Sung who has a dark past that drives him to create the Rainbow Taxi group.
He recruited Kim Do Ki, portrayed by Lee Je Hoon whose heart was shattered after finding out about his mother's brutal death.
Joining as returning cast are Pyo Ye Jin, Bae Yoo Ram, and Jang Hyuk Jin.
Interestingly, the "Taxi Driver 2" cast will feature the new Rainbow Taxi group member, On Ha Joon as the rookie driver. He will be played by Shin Jae Ha of "Crash Course in Romance."

Meanwhile, Pyo ye Jin, who played the role of tech expert Ahn Go Eun also harbors the same feeling and teases her character's matured charisma.
As seen on "Taxi Driver 2" still cuts, Pyo Ye Jin's role transformed from being a hacker to a policewoman, hinting at a huge character development of Ahn Go Eu.
On the other hand, Shin Jae Ha comments admitted that he is a big fan of "Taxi Driver" and is honored to join as one of the cast.
From the excitement of the actors, viewers are speculating that there might be a change in the Rainbow Taxi group, particularly towards Chairman Jang.
