Before greeting the public with the second part of "Island," Cha Eun Woo amplified the anticipation as he dished his honest thoughts on the work, his role and co-stars.

The idol-actor also talked about his future plans for his career, how he manages his expectations and more.

Cha Eun Woo on Stress Management, Burnout

This 2023, idol-actor Cha Eun Woo celebrates his 10th anniversary in the entertainment industry! From being a singer to an actor, the South Korean heartthrob gave his best and enjoyed his work. He has starred in numerous blockbuster hits like "True Beauty," "Gangnam Beauty" and "Decibel."

With his acting chops, great singing abilities and handsome face, many believe that Cha Eun Woo is the most perfect artist in the industry.

However, Cha Eun Woo refuses to acknowledge it, saying that he's "not enough" to be called perfect. According to the actor, he still lacks a lot of things.

The celebrity is grateful for the support he receives and in return, he promises to greet the public with greater works.

"I get exhausted sometimes," Cha Eun Woo admitted. "Whenever I feel that, I just watch various award ceremonies of senior actors, even foreign actors, to remind myself of what's important."

He also stressed out how important it is to get enough sleep as an actor. Cha Eun Woo sees to it that he completes his eight-hour sleep, especially on days that he works without any break.

The "Island" star also thanked his co-stars Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee for their patience and guidance as his seniors.

Cha Eun Woo on Becoming Priest Yo Han

In TVING's "Island," Cha Eun Woo leaves fans in awe with his transformation as a high priest.

"Island" follows the hardships and psychological warfare of three individuals who work together to fight the evil entity that plans to destroy the world.

In the series, Cha Eun Woo worked alongside veteran stars Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee. He showed off his intense synchronization with his character Yo Han during filming, earning him praise from his co-stars.

The idol-actor enrolled in a martial arts school with the director for three months prior to filming in order to fully immerse himself in his respective role.

According to Cha Eun Woo, his muscles were sore over the course of his sessions. He joked, "I would rather dance for hours than do martial arts again."

Cha Eun Woo expressed his gratitude to Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee, who both made the atmosphere light during filming. He found himself becoming more enthusiastic whenever he shot two-shots with either of the actors.

Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo guarantees fans that the tension in the second part of "Island" will be increased tenfold. The viewers will see Priest Yo Han's growth and maturity, as well as Cha Eun Woo's improved acting performance.

All six parts of "Island" were released in January, and Part 2 will be released sequentially this February 24.

Cha Eun Woo Reveals Future Career Plans

The directors praised the idol-actor for his performance in "Island Part 2," saying how he looks more comfortable in front of the camera compared to how he was before.

Cha Eun Woo confessed that he feels the happiest when he receives compliments for his improved acting, and owes it to Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee.

He stated, "I learned a lot while watching them seamlessly immerse in filming and focusing on their characters."

Cha Eun Woo then shared that he doesn't have a grandiose plan for his acting career. According to him, he just wants "Island" to be received with positivity.

The actor said that because he doesn't know what tomorrow will be like, he will build himself and his filmography step by step with the promise to meet the viewers with better works.
