'Call It Love' Episode 1: Shim Woo Joo Watches Her World Crumble

The newest melodrama "Call It Love" begins with Shim Woo Joo (Lee Sung Kyung) and Han Dong Jin's (Kim Young Kwang) indirect encounter in a restaurant.

Shim Woo Joo's siblings are also introduced but unlike her, the bunch was more vivacious. It is revealed that their father, whom they had a complicated relationship with, recently died.

In the funeral hall, she meets Ma Hee Ja (Nam Gi Ae), his father's mistress who left a deep scar in her and her siblings' heart. What's worse is that her father's mistress sold their home off.

With this, Shim Woo Joo and her siblings are left alone to vacate the house within a week. She then cries her heart out due to frustration but losing her job is the nail in the coffin.

Thankfully, she lands a part-time job as an assistant at Best Fair with Han Dong Jin. Unbeknownst to her, her new co-worker is the son of her late father's mistress.

At the end of the first episode, Han Dong Jin comes clean and reveals that truth to Shim Woo Joo. Due to her immense hatred, she stalks him to his home and goes through his mail.

Unfortunately for Shim Woo Joo, she gets caught in the act, putting herself in such embarrassment.

At work, Shim Woo Joo is shocked when she hears rumors about Han Dong Jin; according to their colleagues, he embezzled money from his old company.

However, the subject of the rumors don't care at all. He then attends their school reunion, amplifying the issue about his relationship with Kang Min Young (EXID Hani), his ex-girlfriend who cheated on her.

Elsewhere, Shim Woo Joo logs into her boss' computer to send out information about their upcoming fair, making Han Dong Jin's job tenfold harder.

When Shim Woo Joo is cornered to tell the truth after being seen in the company premises the night before, Han Dong Jin rattles another employee out.
