In 2023, the idol-turned-actress returned to the small screen with the JTBC series "Agency." It follows the life of Go Ah In, played by Lee Bo Young, a woman who wants to climb the top while navigating her way through a male-dominated workplace.
Meanwhile, Son Na Eun took on the role of Kang Han Na, the company's newly appointed executive director and the chairman's daughter.
In the series, the two women presented different problems as women and workers who were born in different societal brackets. Their "womance" and love-hate relationship also attracted viewers.
The production unit revealed that Son Na Eun was actually recommended by Lee Bo Young for the role due to her trendy and beautiful visuals as an actress, which suited Kang Han Na very well.
Though Lee Bo Young didn't personally know Son Na Eun before the drama, the actress had checked out her selfies and Instagram photos online.
Many viewers criticized the singer-actress but the "Agency" production team that Lee Bo Young only made a recommendation for and it was Son Na Eun that got the role herself at the audition.
