Actor and 2PM member Lee Junho dishes on his upcoming romance drama, and the chemistry he has with onscreen partner Im YoonA. 

2PM's Lee Junho Visited England & Thailand For 'King the Land'

Ahead of his much-awaited small screen comeback, Lee Junho sat for an interview and gave excitement to viewers and fans by sharing a sneak peek of his new rom-com drama.

To begin with, the idol-actor revealed that apart from Thailand, he also went to England to film "King the Land." He added, "Currently, I am still filming in Korea. I also went to Jeju. There are a lot of schedules, but the actors and the director all agree on the idea of creating a fun environment for everyone. So we are all having fun."

Lee Junho was also enthusiastic and comfortable with his current project because most of the actors he is working with are around his age. He even compared it to his previous drama, "The Red Sleeve" were lots of heavy scenes that were mentally difficult while acting.

Meanwhile, when asked about his chemistry with his next on-screen partner YoonA, Lee Junho shared his honest thoughts about it. 

There are high expectations for their love team since the public has seen how strong their presence was when they hosted at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon. According to the heartthrob, YoonA is a singer he has known for a long time and is already comfortable working with. He commented that the inner intimacy between them is high.

When he chose "King the Land," he recognized YoonA as an actress and not a singer. Junho added, "Our drama and image seem to fit well. The chemistry is also good, and I like it. I think people who see it will enjoy it. 'King the Land' is a light series that everyone can enjoy."

What Lee Junho Envision For His Future

On the other hand, the "Good Manager" mentioned that he was grateful to work on "The Red Sleeve" during his early thirties as it also built his mature image as an actor. 

When talking about his future, Junho wants to become a good actor and a singer. He wants to be more ambitious and become the actor and singer that people want to see and hear.

The romantic comedy series "King the Land" is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2023 on Netflix and JTBC.
