Woo Yeon Woo Fights Evil One's Underling

"The Heavenly Idol" episode 6 begins right before Woo Yeon Woo's (Kim Min Gyu) survival show broadcast. He needs to win the show in order to divert the public's attention away from Wild Animal's previous controversies.

After the broadcast, Woo Yeon Woo gets attacked by Hwan Sin (Ryu Seung Moo), a subordinate of the Evil One who hides inside their company CEO's (Lee Jang Woo) body.

However, the demon isn't able to kill Woo Yeon Woo as he sees Kim Dal's (Go Bo Gyeol), and runs away to save himself from Pontifex Lembrary's divine powers.

Seeing this as an opportunity to gain the public's trust, Kim Dal moves a wounded Woo Yeon Woo towards the front door where swarming reporters wait for the idol member.

Kim Dal's managerial instincts kick in and states that Woo Yeon Woo is falsely accused, and is even attacked by an assailant that he almost lost his life.

Thankfully, this appealed to the viewers, empathizing with the injured idol. Meanwhile, Kim Dal brings Woo Yeon Woo to the hospital where he surprisingly admits that he's scared of needles.

Woo Yeon Woo & Kim Dal Bare Their Souls

At the dorms, Woo Yeon Woo and Kim Dal reveal their secrets to one another after professing their loyalty to their alliance to revert the curse that was cast upon him and the real Woo Yeon Woo.

He then confesses that he's not originally a priest until he submitted himself to Goddess Redrin (Cha Joo Young) after losing all of his family members.

Moved by his past, Kim Dal then opens up about her wounds. She reveals that she almost lost an artist she once managed to suicide.

Since then, she promised herself to bring happiness to the artists and make their lives easier. With their wounds out in the open, the two lean on one another, embracing their pain away.

Kim Dal Professes Her Attraction To Pontifex Lembrary

At the end of the episode, Woo Yeon Woo awakens Kim Dal's previous artist from coma with his divine powers. Kim Dal then goes back to blame herself for what happened.

Woo Yeon Woo then sits her down in the staircase and shushes her tears away. Kim Dal, who feels soft from his touch, cries her heart out.

She then professes that she would have loved it if she had met Pontifex Lembrary before he was a high priest, implying a blooming romantic attraction between the two.
