Netflix's "Physical: 100" set the bar high as the survival-reality show took the world by storm.
From Olympians to professional athletes to YouTubers to models and to fitness enthusiasts, the 9-episode show consisted of individuals with great strength, stamina, and agility, all who were hoping to win the grand prize of 300 million KRW (245,000 USD).
Out of 100, Crosfitter Woo Jin Yong bagged the title of the first "Physical: 100" winner.

Kim Byeong Jin, Youngest 'Physical: 100' Contestant
During the show's introduction, the "Physical: 100" cast gathered in one room, where participants met their contenders. While there were head-turning contestants like Yang Hak Seon, Kim Sun Bin, and more, the players were surprised to see one participant dressed in a high school uniform.
In "Physical: 100" episode 1, Kim Byeong Jin revealed that he is a taekwondo athlete, The 18-year-old participant is not just an ordinary athlete but represents South Korea in the national competition.
In the said episode, professional wrestler Jang Eun Sil wondered why a high school student is in the reality-survival show.

Little did the participants know that the athlete is making a name for himself in the world of taekwondo. Besides being on the national team, he is also a free "poomsae" competitor.
Adding to the list of his achievements includes being the first at National Team Selection, who competed at the 2022's Taekwondo Free Sparring World Championship.
Unfortunately, his journey in "Physical: 100" was cut short after he lost against dancer Miracle during the one-on-one death match.
Choo Sung Hoon, Oldest 'Physical: 100' Contestant
One of the "Physical: 100" contestants who caused surprise among his fellow players is the legendary MMA fighter Choob Sung Hoon, also known as sexyama on his Instagram.
The Japanese-Korean athlete began his sports career as a judo player before becoming an MMA fighter. Aside from his mixed martial arts experience, he is also trained in boxing, karate, kickboxing, and wrestling.
Adding to the list of his achievements, Choo Sung Hoon represented South Korea at the 2001 Asian Judo Championships and bagged a gold medal.

Moreover, he is also signed under ONE Championship and has 25 wins and 16 defeats in total.
One of the main reasons why he joined "Physical: 100" is he wanted to prove that middle-aged guys like him still have the strength and power over younger athletes.
Sadly, the 47-year-old icon failed to win the game after losing in Quest 4.
