'Divorce Attorney Shin' Episode 1: Lee Seo Jin Wants Shin Sung Han To Handle Her Divorce Case
In "Divorce Attorney Shin" Episode 1, Shin Sung Han won the divorce case of his client against her cheating husband. There was also a glimpse of how Mr. Shin used to be a pianist in Germany, who returned to Korea and amazingly aced the bar exam in just two years.
Despite his achievements, he only takes divorce cases.
Jang Hyeong Geun (Kim Sung Kyun) shared his regrets as his favorite radio host has quit the show due to her leaked sex tape scandal.
Unexpectedly, Lee Seo Jin, the famous radio host, entered the office. She wanted Shin Sung Han to handle her divorce case. Inititally, he refused to take it since it was problematic as she was also dragged into a controversy.
After hearing that Lee Seo Jin only wanted the custody of her son, Shin Sung Han decided to help her.
In another scene, Lee Seo Jin's husband was revealed to be abusive.
During the first trial, it was shown that Lee Seo Jin's alleged boyfriend forcefully recorded their intimate act even though she asked him not to film it.
Shin Sung Han Defends Client Lee Seo Jin Against Controlling Husband
Shin Sung Han defended his client by asking why people think Lee Seo Jin cheated. A flashback appeared, showing the how miserable Lee Seo Jin had been with her husband.
Attorney Shin pointed out that Lee Seo Jin cheated because of her husband's over-controlling nature. After the exchange of statements, the preceding judge stopped the trial and announced to proceed once her son's psychotherapy result is out.

However, Kang Hee Sub (Park Jung Pyo) already looked up what kind of questions were asked in the tests and instructed his son to say exactly what he said.
Attorney Shin met up with Hyeon U (Jang Sun Yool) and found out the kid wanted to erase his memories, giving suspicion that he had seen his mom's video.
Lee Seo Jin Wants To Drop the Divorce Case
The kid had a panic attack. When his father tried to call for help, Hyeon U smashed the phone into the wall. It broke Lee Seo Jin's heart, and immediately called Shin Sung Han to drop the case after seeing her son's condition.
There was a suspicion that Kang Hee Sub may have shown the videotape to his son.
