Kim Sae Ron remains in hot waters after YouTuber and former reporter Lee Jin Ho reveals something shocking about the actress' past involving her DUI charges.
After the celebrity attended her first trial, she received backlash from the public as they questioned her financial status. To recall, during her court appearance, "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star apologized and expressed regrets about the incident.
Moreover, she shared that she has been self-reflecting regarding her action. She also raised her current situation, asking for mercy.
According to Kim Sae Ron, she is facing financial struggles and it has been difficult for her to "make ends meet," since she is also the family's breadwinner.
However, the court slapped Kim Sae Ron with a 20 million KRW fine, or around 15,145 USD, while her passenger faces a 5 million KRW or 3,786 USD fine.
YouTuber Lee Jin Ho Reacts to Kim Sae Ron's Current Status
While the public was not convinced that the actress is struggling financially and working part-time at a cafe, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho confirmed that she didn't work at the coffee franchise company that appeared on her Instagram.
"Kim Sae Ron may have worked part-time elsewhere, but it's true that she didn't work part-time at that company," he said, as obtained by a news portal, adding that he "directly confirmed it with the store owner."
It was after the actress posted a series of photos on her Instagram stories, which includes her wearing a uniform from Mega Coffee.

However, a representative from the company, tells a media outlet that Kim Sae Ron never worked at any of their stores but it was her friend who worked at one of their franchises.
As for the photos, the official from the company clarified that the snaps taken in the dark kitchen were not from their store.
"Our stores don't have a separate baking kitchen," the representative added.

Apart from Kim Sae Ron's part-time job, the former reporter also questioned the actress' habit. He revealed that in the same month during the drunk driving incident, she attended a drinking party at a famous BJ's house, raising the question of "whether Kim Sae Ron reflected on herself."
Moreover, an insider also revealed to the YouTuber that the 22-year-old star "is the type to relieve stress with alcohol" and "can't stop drinking even after the accident."
To recall, during her first trial, she mentioned that she had already quit drinking and even sold her car to help with the finances.
Apart from the fine, Kim Sae Ron previously worked on the settlement and penalties due to the incident including the electric transformer, which cost 20 million KRW.
