After the first trial regarding Kim Sae Ron's drunk driving charges, rumor sparked that the actress has hired not one but 6 top niche lawyers to handle her case.
The former child star continues to draw attention after attending her first hearing 10 months after the incident that happened in May 2022.
After being booked for DUI, the 22-year-old star faces consequences for ramming her SUV in Gangnam causing inconvenience to the whole neighborhood.
In addition, the actress also left damage to public properties including a guardrail, road verge, and transformer after she was caught driving under the influence.
However, as the 4th division of the Seoul Central District Court scheduled the first trial last March 8, the legal community revealed surprising truths about the case.
Kim Sae Ron Reportedly Appoints 6 Lawyers
According to Sports Chosun, "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star has reportedly appointed 6 lawyers.
Based on the report, two of her legal representative is from a large law firm and are considered one of the best in the field.
Moreover, Kim Sae Ron also hired a lawyer who was the chief attorney and chief prosecutor of the law firm.
In the same report, one served as chief of Criminal Divisions 1 and 2 of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, while the other is the head of the Jecheon Branch of the Cheongju District Prosecutor's Office.
Kim Sae Ron's DIU Update: Highlights on her First Trial
The 22-year-old star attended her first trial following DIU charges against her.
To recall, based on her Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) reached 0.2 percent at the time of the accident, which is enough to revoke her driving license.
On the other hand, reports say that while at the trial, Kim Sae Ron expressed her apologies, adding that she "regrets" and now reflecting on her actions.
"This will never happen again. I'm sorry. I regret my actions, and I'm reflecting on them."
