Kim Sae Ron’s Lawyer ‘Couldnt Contact’ the Actress After Backlash Regarding Her Part-Time Work
Kim Sae Ron's legal counsel delivers an update regarding the actress after her first trial due to the drunk driving incident.
The former child star recently made headlines after attending her first court hearing where she was fined 20 million KRW or 15,000 USD for DUI charges.
Unfortunately, "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star continues to receive online hate with the public criticizing her current status after revealing to the court that she is working part-time and is the breadwinner of their family.
Kim Sae Ron's Lawyer Says he 'Couldn't Contact' the Actress
However, Kim Sae Ron's lawyer revealed that they couldn't reach the actress after getting backlash from the public.
In a report, the legal representative said that he tried to contact the 22-year-old actress to clarify news regarding her work but he couldn't reach her.
"I knew he was working part-time at one place, but I didn't know she was working multiple jobs at the same time," the lawyer said, adding "I saw an article about a part-time job at a cafe and contacted her directly, but I couldn't reach her," hence the legal representative couldn't confirm the exact facts about the actress' current work.
As for the photos, the lawyer briefly commented about them but insist that it is true that Kim Sae Ron is "working part-time" however, he has nothing else "to say about the fake cafe part-time photos.
On the other hand, the lawyer also spoke about the former child star's current condition and shared that she "has left the apartment belonging to her previous agency but I can't confirm if she is living with her family again" adding that Kim Sae Ron doesn't want to release new information about her at the moment.
Kim Sae Ron Faces Backlash: From Stage Part-Time Photos to Fake Apartment
During her first court trial, Kim Sae Ron expressed regret and says that she has been doing self-reflection since the incident that happened in 2022.
She promised that it will "never happen again" and that she have quit drinking and even sold her car.
Moreso, it has been difficult for her since she is struggling financially to make ends meet.
However, a few days after the court appearance, Kim Sae Ron's Instagram featured a series of photos of the actress wearing a uniform at a cafe and making beverages.
Immediately after posting these, the franchise coffee brand clarified that the actress has never worked at any of their cafes but instead it was her friend who was their employee.

On the other hand, her lawyer revealed that the house that was featured on tvN's show "On and Off" was not her apartment but belonged to her agency.
He added, "The apartment (that was shown on tvN's show 'On and Off') belonged to her agency.
In addition, the representative also mentioned that the actress had a huge debt to her former agency Gold Medalist since they are the ones who initially paid for the settlement and penalties of their talent.
