After declining the historical series, Kim Seon Ho received an offer to star alongside Park Gyu Young in an upcoming K-drama. 

The South Korean heartthrob continues to receive offers after making his return to showbiz. 

Interestingly, the 36-year-old actor will be having his on-screen comeback through an upcoming K-drama. 

Kim Seon Ho and Park Gyu Young Team Up Possible?

According to a media outlet, Kim Seon Ho is courted to play a lead role in a new mystery drama "Mangnaein."

The news was confirmed by his agency, SALT Entertainment saying that the actor has received the offer. 

The same goes for Park Gyu Young who was also offered to star alongside Kim Seon Ho as the lead star. 

The upcoming mystery series "Mangnaein" follows the story of a mysterious woman who looks into the death of her younger sibling. 

However, while digging up information, she meets a mysterious man. 

The new mystery K-drama will be directed by Kim Ji Woon of "Doomsday Book" and "I Saw the Devil" alongside Park Bo Ram of "Through the Darkness."

In addition, "Mangnaein" will have a total of 6 episodes and will be released through OTT platforms. 

If Kim Seon Ho officially accepts the offer, this will be his K-drama comeback since the 2021 rom-com "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" together with Shin Min Ah.

As for Park Gyu Young, this will be her next project after "Dali and the Cocky Prince" and the much-awaited "Sweet Home" season 3. 

Meanwhile, she has a ton of upcoming K-dramas this 2023 besides the Netflix series. 

Park Gyu Young will also reprise her role in "Sweet Home" season 3, and play a new character in the thriller mystery K-drama "Celebrity" alongside Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Chung Ah, Lee Dong Gun, and more. 

In addition, she is also selected to headline the webtoon-based rom-com "A Good Day to be a Dog" with Cha Eun Woo and "Money Heist: Korea" star Lee Hyun Woo. 

Kim Seon Ho Turns Down Offer for 'Hash's Shinru'

Prior to his offer for an upcoming project with Park Gyu Young, Kim Seon Ho was selected to play the role of the Crown Prince in his upcoming K-drama "Hash's Shinru."

The historical K-drama is written by Yoon Yi Soo of the web novel "Love in the Moonlight."

Back in October 2022, the actor's agency, confirmed that he is courted to play the lead role and is "positively considering" the offer. 

However, after months of in talks, Kim Seon Ho declined to join "Hash's Shinru" after discussing with the production company. 

On the other hand, he will star in multiple movies, including "Tyrant" and "The Childe" with Kim Kang Woo, Go Ah Ra, and rookie actor Kang Tae Joo.
