Lee Se Young Returns With New Historical Drama This 2023

This 2023, Lee Se Young is finally set to make her much anticipated comeback with a new period drama!

On March 21, Prain TPC, the actress' agency, confirmed that Lee Se Young accepted the offer to star in the new time travel drama "Park's Contract Marriage Story."

She teams up with "My Roommate Is a Gumiho" star Bae In Hyuk. Based on the webtoon of the same name, the series follows the exclusive marriage contract between an eligible bachelor and the eccentric yet beautiful widower.

In the series, Lee Se Young plays Park Yeon Woo, a woman in the Joseon Dynasty who crosses 200 years of time and ends up in South Korea in 2023 due to an incident.

Park Yeon Woo meets Kang Tae Ha, played by Bae In Hyuk, her husband who died on the first night of their wedding, and ends up agreeing to a contractual marriage with him despite practicing celibacy.

As she navigates her way back to Joseon, things drastically change when begins to catch subtle feelings for Kang Tae Ha.

"Park's Contract Marriage Story" is a work that transcends time, fate and modernity. Moreover, the new period drama guarantees to bring fun and entertaining watching experience.

Lee Se Young had been a busy bee in the past year with her slew of multiple projects!

In early 2022, the actress transformed into a hot-tempered yet well-dressed lawyer who owns a cafe to sell coffee while giving out free legal advice in the romantic comedy series "The Law Cafe."

She coupled up with Lee Seung Gi in the work, which heralded their second drama after "A Korean Odyssey."

In the later half of the same year, she made a special cameo in Yoo Ah In and Go Kyung Pyo's action-filled Netflix film "Seoul Vibe."
