Lee Do Hyun Admits Being Intimidated By Lim Ji Yeon — Here’s Why

Initially released in December 2022, the revenge series "The Glory" has taken over the Hallyu scene with its sound premise and the cast's eye-catching acting performances.
Led by Song Hye Kyo, "The Glory" follows the tragic story of a school violence victim who takes revenge by becoming her perpetrators' daughter's homeroom school teacher.
The series received critical acclaim and topped the Netflix global charts from countries like South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Canada, Pakistan and more.
Following its satisfactory conclusion, Lee Do Hyun sat down and talked about "The Glory" with Cosmopolitan Korea. In the series, the actor plays Joo Yeo Jeong, a plastic surgeon who becomes Song Hye Kyo's right hand man.
Because fans want to know what goes on behind the cameras, the young actor looked back and dished out his most memorable experience from filming the series.
Lee Do Hyun then admitted that he was deeply intimidated by Lim Ji Yeon and Choi Hye Jeong during their scene. According to the actor, he was just as scared of them as the viewers.
He reasoned that he had never met actors who played the roles of perpetrators. In addition to that, he and Lim Ji Yeon never had scenes together apart from their surgical scenes.
"Besides our rehearsal, it was the second time I met her," Lee Do Hyun stated, pertaining to Lim Ji Yeon. "Her performances as Park Yeon Jin is so realistic. I couldn't help but feel intimidated, that's why I was very scared at the time."

Lee Do Hyun then clarified that Lim Ji Yeon is a sweet person in real life who has the ability to synchronize flawlessly with her character, especially when the cameras begin to roll.

In his interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, the actor hinted at a possible production for Part 3, saying. Lee Do Hyun said, "A Part 3 would be great but I'm not going to comment on anything."
Due to its enjoyable narrative, fans couldn't help but to ask for more. In particular, many viewers also speculate that a new installment is coming to deliver Lee Do Hyun's much anticipated revenge.
In Part 1 and Part 2, "The Glory" focused on Song Hye Kyo's revenge on Lim Ji Yeon. It also featured her romantic relationship with Lee Do Hyun.
After completing her revenge plan, she volunteers to become Lee Do Hyun's executioner as he avenges his late father's death. Even more so, she texted her assistant Yeom Hye Ran, implying for a new job.
Unfortunately, there's no news regarding its production just yet. On the other hand, a new season will surely appeal to the public after the series received great reception in both domestic and international scenes.
