Musical and K-drama actor Jung Sung Il is all over the internet after starring in "The Glory." Apart from his noteworthy acting in the megahit series, people can't help but gush over him that he has been named as everyone's favorite "hot ahjussi"!

A week after "The Glory" Part 2 concluded, its stars are still receiving recognition and admiration from the public. One of its leads, Jung Sung Il, enchanted the viewers with his acting and visuals after playing the role of Ha Do Young in the hit K-series.

In fact, his name made headlines again after his past interview during his guest appearance in "Yoo Quiz on the Block," hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho, resurfaced online. There, Jung Sung Il revealed for the first time how he transformed his body dramatically in just eight weeks!

In reference, the actor shared a series of photos that show his body transformation in his past Instagram post.

According to the "Bad and Crazy" villain, he had no help from physical trainers and just did all the workouts by himself. He stated in the caption that from July 16 to September 10, he paid about 19.20 USD for a workout book and used it on his own.

The celebrity also explained that he worked out for about two to three hours daily, which soon resulted in his incredible transformation. The actor said in the interview that he worked hard to achieve his built.

But there was an agenda behind his discipline. At that time, Jung Sung Il received an offer to appear in an independent film and play the role of a killer with a fit body. He was desperate so he accepted the offer and challenged himself to work on his body.

With the help of the book "8 Week Miracle: Muscle Resurrection," the celebrity controlled his diet, got a gym membership near his home for three months, and worked out with routines and diet plans from the book.

Unfortunately, the supposed to be an independent film never happened. But even though the filming didn't proceed, Jung Sung Il's hard work and discipline paid off, and it was this hard work and determination that brought him to the success he is experiencing today.

He revealed that since he will work on "The Glory," Jung Sung Il had to get back in shape as the director wanted his character to look sharp and sensitive.

This time, he confessed he needed the help of his company and a personal trainer because it was hard doing it alone.
