‘The Heavenly Idol’ Episode 11: Kim Min Gyu Learns Ugly Truth About Cha Joo Young

Pontifex Lembrary Saves Rookie Idol Group

In "The Heavenly Idol" episode 11, Pontifex Lembrary (Kim Min Gyu) joins forces with Kim Dal (Go Bo Gyeol) to save the rookie group Evil Boys.

Like his road manager, the members were put under a spell by the Evil One (Lee Jang Woo) who disguises as their company's vice chairman.

Woo Yeon Woo, the idol member whose body is being used by the high priest, decides to take the matter to his own hands. He then directly asks the Evil Boys about the Evil One.

He learns that the members of the rookie group are slowly forgetting the memories of their families due to the dark power they are in. Woo Yeon Woo then uses his divine powers to delay the process.

After which, the rookie idols cry due to regret and leave the scene to go back home. Thankfully, Woo Yeon Woo is able to stop the deal between them and the Evil One.

The Evil One Strikes

Wild Animal receives the Discovery of the Year award, sending its members to an emotional meltdown.

Because Woo Yeon Woo fulfilled his promise to make Wild Animal a popular group, he returns to his original body and once again becomes high priest Pontifex Lembrary.

After saving the Evil Boys, Lee Jang Woo raids the awards show. Woo Yeon Woo then lures the Evil One away to save Kim Dal who becomes his target.

At the end of the episode, Pontifex Lembrary visits the temple of Goddess Redrin (Cha Joo Young) to ask for her mercy and stop the Evil One.

Redrin then reveals the only option to take down the Evil One: Pontifex Lembrary needs to sacrifice himself in order to save the people from the dark forces.

Kim Dal Runs To Underworld To Save Pontifex Lembrary

When Pontifex Lembrary agrees after a thorough contemplation, Redrin slips and exposes her life. Her true intention is to kill the high priest and his family and friends to keep his divine powers to herself.

Enraged by this, Pontifex Lembrary wrecks Redrin's temple, making her writhe in pain. Kim Dal crosses the border to another world by persuading Yeomra (Jang Young Nam), the Queen of the Underworld.
