‘Our Blooming Youth’ Episode 16: Park Hyung Sik Sees Looming Threat Against Jeon So Nee

The historical drama, which is based on the webtoon "The Golden Hairpin," focuses on the team-up between Crown Prince Yi Hwan, played by Park Hyung Sik, and Lady Min Jae Yi, portrayed by Jeon So Nee.
In "Our Blooming Youth," the Crown Prince is seeking ways to end the curse he is facing while Lady Min Jae Yi wants to clear her name following a conspiracy against her. Being in an unfavorrable situation, they decided to help together and reveal the truth about the devious plan of their detractors.
Joining Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee are Pyo Ye Jin, Lee Tae Sun, Yoon Jeong Seok and more.
'Our Blooming Youth' Episode 16 Viewership
With only four episodes left, the historical drama series failed to surpass the show's all-time high viewership.
According to Nielsen Korea, "Our Blooming Youth" episode 16 garnered an average nationwide rating of 3.2 percent while metropolitan areas scored 3.4 percent. It is a slight decrease from its previous rating of 3.8 percent and 4.2 percent.
Interestingly, viewers could watch the drama's last two weeks as "Our Blooming Youth" episode 17 is slated to air on April 7.

'Our Blooming Youth' Episode 16 Recap
"Our Blooming Youth" Episode 16 contains several highlights that play significant events in the story.
The episode began with Queen Consort discovering the evil plan of her father and the Right State Councilor, Jo Won Bo.
It was after the Grand Prince claimed on seeing the ghost of the late Crown Prince. However, the Queen told her son that no one, not even the King, should know about it.
That is because the Queen was terrified that her sin would be uncovered if the advisers and councilors knew he was the one who gave the Crown Prince the poisoned fruit.
However, the young royal revealed that his grandfather, who happens to be Jo Won Bo, instructed him to give the Crown Prince peach. With this, Queen Consort was furious that her father used her son for his evil plan.
On the other hand, Crown Prince Yi Hwan predicted a threat to Min Jae Yi and Jang Ga Ram. He confessed to Jang Ga Ram that he knew about their dual personality. Moreover, he also warned her not to run errands alone and always be with his master.
As part of his plan, the Crown Prince instructed his Guardian Warrior Tae Gang to find a place for Min Jae Yi outside the palace.
At this point, Yi Hwan believed that she would soon reveal her identity to clear her name.
