IU and Park Seo Joon spoke about their thoughts on working together for the upcoming movie "Dream."

The two top stars graced the press conference, along with co-stars Kim Jong Soo, Ko Chang Seok, Jeong Seung Kil, Lee Hyun Woo, Yang Hyun Min, Hong Wan Pyo, Ha Jun Suk, and director Lee Byung Hun.

During the media briefing, the stars shared their experience filming the sports-themed movie.

After announcing the lead stars who will headline the movie "Dream," the cast and crew started their filming session but were forced to delay the production due to health restrictions. Since it was during the height of the pandemic, the team had to temporarily halt the production but was able to finish filming after three years.

Now, they are ready to introduce the amazing cast lineup and entertaining story of "Dream."

IU Gets Honest About Working With Park Seo Joon

At the press conference, IU praised her co-star Park Seo Joon for his impressive work ethic. During the interview obtained by a media outlet, the idol-actress says she feels jealous of how he managed to convey his character's emotion in one go.

"Every time the director makes an unexpected request, I was so amazed and envious watching Park Seo Joon flexibly accept it and make it his own," she said, referring to how versatile the actor is with his acting spectrum.

In the upcoming film, IU plays producing director Lee So Min, who got inspired by a group of amateur soccer players who joined the international league, Homeless World Cup.

There, she meets the soccer coach, Yoon Dong Hae. He is a once top-notch soccer player but is on hiatus due to disciplinary action.

According to the actress, the reason why she joined "Dream" was because of its story.

She mentioned that she was captivated by the stories and characters of the upcoming film and was so "happy" when it was offered to her and was able to participate in the movie directed and written by Lee Byung Hun.

Park Seo Joon Says He's Fan of IU

As IU lauded Park Seo Joon's work ethic, the South Korean heartthrob tells positive comments about his co-star.

"I've always been a fan of IU," he said, adding that it was "fun" and "nice" to meet the actress through an interesting project.

Besides working with IU, Park Seo Joon says that he started filming "Dream" right after the hit K-drama "Itaewon Class."

According to him, the team experience "many twists and turns" before they introduce the movie to the viewers, adding "It's new to see myself three years ago."

As for the premiere, the actor admitted that he is worried and at the same time excited about the premiere since the viewers haven't been in cinemas for a long time.

"Dream" is slated to hit the big screen on April 26.
