"The Penthouse: War in Life" made viewers hooked with its thrilling and surprising twists and turns as Kim So Yeon, Uhm Ki Joon, Eugene, and the rest of the cast deliver an exceptional performance.

Penned by Kim Soon Ok of "The Last Empress" who is also the creator of "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise," the thriller mystery series focuses on revenge and secrets at Hera Palace.

First released in 2020, "The Penthouse: War in Life" went on with three seasons with most of the cast reprising their roles.

It depicts the story of Joo Dan Tae, played by Uhm Ki Joon, the owner of Hera Palace, a luxury penthouse apartment with 100 floors, however, amid his fame, wealth, and power, he harbors dark past and secrets involving his wife and primadonna, Cheon Seo Jin, played by Kim So Yeon.

On the other hand, Seo Jin harbors deep revenge against her nemesis Oh Yoon Hee who happens to be connected to Uhm Ki Joon.

Despite the K-drama's reign, "The Penthouse: War in Life" bid goodbye in 2021, ending the show with season 3.

While drama officials haven't addressed if the makjang K-drama will return with season 4, here are the current and upcoming projects featuring "The Penthouse: War in Life" cast.

Shortly after "The Penthouse: War in Life" ended, he starred as one of the main hosts in the variety show "We Don't Bite: Villains in the Countryside."

It was then followed by another villain role in "Little Women" together with Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hoo.

Besides this, Lee Ji Ah will also headline another new K-drama "I Will Go Until the End" with Kang Ki Young of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."
