In early 2022, Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun and Hwang In Yeop decorated the small screen with magic and music through their Netflix series "The Sound of Magic."

The drama was well-received by the public, even ranking at No. 4 in Netflix's Global Top 10 in the first four days after it was released.

In the later half of the year, the cast of "The Sound of Magic" reunited and joined the television show "Youth MT" with "Love in the Moonlight" and "Itaewon Class" actors, much to fans' delight.

Ji Chang Wook

Hallyu superstar Ji Chang Wook is set to make his much anticipated return as a detective in forthcoming series "The Worst of Evil."

Set in the '90s, the action crime drama revolves around the life of a police officer who infiltrates a gang organization disguised as a drug criminal to take them down.

Ji Chang Wook plays Park Joon Mo, a dedicated law enforcer who upholds righteousness and good deeds. In particular, the series will be available on Disney+ some time in the second half of the year. Even more so, Ji Chang Wook was also offered to star in the forthcoming film "Revolver."

The movie is an action crime drama that is headlined by Jeon Do Yeon, a police officer who tries to get back to her position after being involuntarily dismissed.

Ji Chang Wook is currently reviewing the offer with positive feelings. If he chooses to participate, "Revolver" will mark his return to the big screen after two years.

Choi Sung Eun

Choi Sung Eun transforms into a foreign woman in her brand new Netflix film with Song Joong Ki!

The 27-year-old star couples up with the actor in "My Name is Loh Kiwan," which depicts the struggles of a North Korean defector who fights for his life in an unfamiliar place.

Choi Sung Eun plays the role of Marie, a Korean-born Belgian woman who helps Loh Kiwan to flee the country, discovering salvation and romance in the process.

Filming began earlier this year in Hungary with Song Joong Ki, Jo Han Chul and the cast and crew of the film. The high scale project is intended to be released in the early part of 2024 so stay tuned for more updates!


Hwang In Yeop

After participating in "Youth MT" in 2022, Hwang In Yeop gained new fans for his adorable interactions with other artists.

He also established loyal "shippers" after he asked Kim Yoo Jung to work with him in a romance drama in the future.

Due to this, fans are rooting for them to headline the upcoming remake of the classic K-Drama "Princess Hours." However, there's no official announcement about its details yet.

On the other hand, Hwang In Yeop confirmed his participation in the new MBC drama "Family of Assembly" with Jung Chae Yeon.

They will portray the heartwarming stories of three non blood-related young adults who found home in one another, creating their own lovely family.

It's a work based on the Chinese series "Go Ahead," raising expectations for Hwang In Yeop who challenges himself with the thought-evoking melodrama genre.
