Lee Seung Gi Wins Best Actor at 35th Korea PD Awards
On April 26, the winners of the 35th Korea PD Awards were revealed.
Among the known stars who received recognition from the event was singer-actor Lee Seung Gi. He bagged the Best Actor award for his performance in the KBS2's legal-romance drama "The Law Cafe."
In the series, he portrayed the role of prosecutor Kim Jeong Ho. It was also his reunion project with Lee Se Young following their fantasy series "A Korean Odyssey" in 2017.
Upon getting the trophy on stage, Lee Seung Gi said:
"It's such an honor to be able to have a big award thanks to KBS' series 'The Law Cafe.' For the past couple of days, I've been thinking a little more about how a lot of people are working hard to produce a good drama."
The "Vagabond" lead star also acknowledged the drama's director and writer for producing a masterpiece. He assured fans to do his best to show more of his acting skills in every work.

In 2022, following "The Law Cafe's" conclusion, the series received the Grand Prize and Best Couple Award at the KBS Drama Awards.
The last time Lee Seung Gi won the Best Actor trophy was in 2019 with his impeccable acting in the action-adventure drama "Vagabond," where he teamed up with idol-actress Suzy.
Lee Seung Gi Booked for Major Projects This May
Meanwhile, after finishing his acting activity, the celebrity is preparing for his participation in variety shows.
This May, Lee Seung Gi will re-join forces with veteran comedian and host Kang Ho Dong as they headline the re-launch of the famous entertainment program "Strong Heart."
Adding to the list of his upcoming shows is "Brother Ramyeon," alongside Kang Ho Dong and Bae In Hyuk, which is scheduled for release in May too.
The 36-year-old actor will also officially meet his international fans for his Asia tour "The Dreamer's Dream" - Chapter 2. It will kick off in Seoul, and is confirmed to run for four days.
Other cities included in Lee Seung Gi's tour concert are Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Taipei, and Manila.
