Ahn Eun Jin Plays Strong Character in Comeback Drama 'The Good Bad Mother'
Ahn Eun Jin marked her small screen comeback through the ongoing "The Good Bad Mother." It's her new work following "The One and Only" in 2022.
The new healing-comedy drama follows the story of Young Soon (Ra Mi Ran), a mother who becomes a bad mom for the sake of her only child, and her son, Kang Ho (Lee Do Hyun), a cold-hearted prosecutor who suddenly becomes a child again.
In particular, Ahn Eun Jin plays the role of Lee Mi Joo, a nail artist, and Kang Ho's ex. At the beginning of the series, she shows her support for Kang Ho's studies during their high school days.
However, after witnessing Lee Mi Joo's accident before a major exam, Kang Ho decides not to take the college test, which makes Lee Mi Joo feel sorry for him.
Fast forward to her adult years when she becomes a nail artist. In an episode, she does a pedicure for a known ballerina Oh Ha Young. However, Lee Mi Joo accidentally hurts her foot, making Oh Ha Young kick Lee Mi Joo.

She kneels down and apologizes. Surrounded by a lot of customers, the ballerina tries to escape.
But Lee Mi Hoo stops her and says it is her turn to apologize for kicking her.
Ahn Eun Jin Reacts To People Who Can't 'Unsee' Her 'Hospital Playlist' Character Chu Min Ha
At the drama's press conference, Ahn Eun Jin explained that the synchronization between her and Lee Mi Joo is 80%.
According to her, the common thing about them is that they are always positive even when facing challenges in life.
Another lead actress, Ra Mi Ran, commented that it should be a 120% synchronization rate as Ahn Eun Jin is very bright and energetic.
Meanwhile, regarding the fact that the audience still remembers her as Chu Min Ha in the hit medical series "Hospital Playlist," Ahn Eun Jin responded, "I think I couldn't have created a better image. I was able to reach people's hearts with such a bright and healthy role."
She continued, "If I can hear people say 'Oh, she's good at this too? When I play a different character, that's also a win for me," exhibiting a positive attitude despite receiving mixed reactions from viewers.
"The Good Bad Mother" airs every Wednesday and Thursday on JTBC at 10:30 p.m. (KST).
