‘Joseon Attorney’ Episode 12: Woo Do Hwan Surprisingly Drops Ongoing Case

Kang Han Soo (Woo Do Hwan) carried out a land messenger and eventually dropped the case in "Joseon Attorney" episode 12. 

'Joseon Attorney' Episode 12: Kang Han Soo Helps Farmers Gain Their Land

In "Joseon Attorney" episode 11, Kang Han Soo (Woo Do Hwan) was caught for the murder of Choo Young Woo and got tortured, but he was able to be released thanks to the decisive testimony of Choo Sal (Lee Chan Jong).

In continuation in episode 12, Kang Han Soo reached out to Choo Sal, who was holding a crying baby. After hearing his unfair story, he was forced to commit a land investigation. Jo Cheol, Choo Sal's older brother, built the land when he heard that he could own the land if he cleared the wasteland within three years, but ended up losing to Won Dae Han (Lee Jae Woon). 

Kang Han Soo claimed that the period of three years has not yet ended, referring to the fact that he had been to serve in the country. However, the families of the tenant farmers who would testify were held hostage by Won Dae Han and were in a difficult situation as they perjured themselves.

Amid the crisis over land litigation, Lee Yeon Joo (Bona) suggested that the government should use the domestic history, which manages the royalty property, to cope with it expediently. 

Why Did Kang Han Soo Drop the Farmers' Case?

Since the farmers did not know the law, Kang Han Soo stood by the farmers and criticized the performance for urging illegality. After fact-checking, the attorney felt it would be a complicated process to get the farmers' land again. 

On the day of the cancellation, the case resumed but Kang Han Soo suddenly declared that he would drop the case, embarrassing everyone. He also said that he had collected all the embankments made, which eventually led him to give up the land.

Little did others know, Kang Han Soo has a hidden agenda for dropping the case. The land lit up Han Soo's efforts, which were entirely on the farmers' side to prevent injustice from being passed down. 

As the story progressed, Kang Han Soo entered an acupuncture bar and accidentally met Eun Woo (Han So Eun), his sister. However, a strange atmosphere flowed during their meeting.
