Cultural Critic Posts Apology After Attacking Park Eun Bin Over Her Baeksang Arts Awards 2023 Speech
After taking a swipe at Park Eun Bin's acceptance speech during the Baeksang Arts Awards 2023, cultural critic Kim Gap Soo posted a public apology following his action against the actress.
He received a ton of backlash after comparing the newly hailed Daesang winner to Song Hye Kyo. Now, he is setting things straight and has publicly apologized to the actress.

During his recent appearance on the YouTube channel "Jung Young Jin, Choi Wook's Maebul Show," one of the hosts raised how Kim Gap Soo received negative feedback from the public after criticizing Park Eun Bin.
"There were more than 500 articles about this issue. People wonder if it's noise marketing," Choi Wook asked, to which the cultural critic replied, denying that he has no intention of targeting the actress.
Moreover, he acknowledged that he "was wrong" when he said it.

As he talked about his mistake, he criticized another celebrity, but this time he did not mention any names.
"There was another person who was too extra," he said, adding, "but I mentioned Park Eun Bin, the winner of the Grand Prize, because that person had no presence."
The cultural critic pointed out how controlling one's emotions publicly is very important.
"When I talked about the act of crying with joy, my expression became a mockery of people. I just wanted people to think about emotional control or excessive behaviors at least once," he said, as obtained by a media outlet.
Concluding the topic, Kim Gap Soo praised the Daesang winner for delivering a great acceptance speech and emphasized that the content of her message "was good."
The cultural critic, who described Park Eun Bin as a "great actress," once again mentioned that he "had no intention of targeting her," but at one point, he raised his stance, saying, "Although I didn't express my thoughts well, it doesn't mean that I'm wrong."
To recall, the public went furious after Kim Gap Soo criticized Park Eun Bin for "bowing too much" and calling the actress "over-emotional" after she went up on stage to accept the award.

Besides the star-studded event, one of the highlights at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards was the winner for Daesang or the grand prize award.
Park Eun Bin, who starred in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," took home the title and couldn't help but feel emotional as she delivered her acceptance speech. She expressed deep gratitude to the whole staff and cast of the ENA series, as well as the viewers who supported the show.
"The overwhelming love and attention that 'Woo Young Woo' has received has surpassed all expectations. In truth, I would not be standing here today without everyone's love," she said.
