‘Dr Romantic 3’ Episode 6: Lee Kyung Young Highlights Han Suk Kyu’s Flaw
"Dr. Romantic 3" episode 6 triggers Han Suk Kyu's self-doubt after witnessing how his staff gets caught up in their personal and work problems.
As the medical K-drama gets on with its third week of broadcast, tension rises between two legendary doctors at Doldam Hospital.
Han Suk Kyu returns as Kim Sa Bu, a once popular city-based surgeon who chose to work in a countryside hospital after geing targeted by office politics.
At Doldam, he met new and young doctors whom he inspires to work with passion.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Viewership
As reported by a media outlet, Nielsen Korea recorded a slight dip in viewership for the SBS weekend K-drama.
"Dr. Romantic 3" episode 6 garnered an average nationwide rating of 12 percent, a significant difference from the fifth episode's 12.3 percent.
Meanwhile, viewers will get to watch "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 7 on May 19 via SBS and Disney+ for global viewers.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Episode 6 Recap
The episode began with Kim Sa Bu reviewing the incident, concerning the death of the assemblyman's son under the supervision of Dr. Jung In Soo.
As Teacher Kim was checking the CCTV, he saw Dr. Yang catch the attention of Dr. Jung, causing him to lose focus on the other patient. At this point, he didn't know how to help Dr. Jung, who took full responsibility for the incident.
Interestingly, one of the highlights in "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 6 was the little girl who came to Doldam to look for his father. The staff thought that she was Kim Sa Bu's daughter as she kept on looking at "master Kim."

Interestingly, she met the man himself and was invited to his office.
On the other hand, a patient who was hit by a car was rushed to the trauma center. However, because of her current condition and the severe injury she had, Dr. Cha Jin Man advised Seo Woo Jin not to treat the patient. He explained that it would be of no use since her health was also deteriorating.
However, Kim Sa Bu intervened and insisted on treating the patient.
Unfortunately, it turned out that the patient was reportedly suicidal, and because of it, she couldn't receive a lung transplant through an organ donor.
Thankfully, the young girl, who happens to be Dr. Jung's daughter, saw the incident and gave her testimony, stating that the woman had an attack while crossing the street.
Meanwhile, Kim Sa Bu also learned that Dr. Jung's marriage is falling apart. It was after the little girl told Kim Sa Bu that her mom used to tell her that Master Kim wouldnt let her father leave the hospital.
With this, he felt guilty and wished that he knew Dr. Jung's situation.
Kim Sa Bu questioned himself if he was putting his staff in danger, whether it be work-related or personal-related. He thought that it would be best for Cha Jin Man to take over the surgery to show the staff of Doldam that he is different from what they thought.
At this point, it seemed like Dr. Cha was not that evil but only rational about making decisions.
