Is Lee Sung Kyung & Ahn Hyo Seop the Next ‘IT’ K-drama Couple? Reset Couple Receives Positive Response From Viewers

"Dr. Romantic 3" lead stars Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop continue to garner the attention of viewers as the SBS medical K-drama receives an overwhelming response from the audience. 

After three years, the Doldam Hospital family officially returns, showcasing the heartwarming stories of staff and patients as well as the sweet moments between Chae Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin. 

Dubbed as the "rest couple," viewers swoon over the duo's on-screen chemistry, especially with the new season's character development, featuring the budding romance of the new couple. 

Will the 'Reset Couple' Surpass the K-Drama Craze of 'Business Proposal'? 

Prior to "Dr. Romantic 3," Ahn Hyo Seop starred in the webtoon-based rom-com K-drama "Business Proposal," where he headlined the series along with Kim Se Jeong. 

The SBS K-drama instantly gained massive fame, with viewers getting super hooked with every episode of the show. 

Ahn Hyo Seop took on the role of hotshot CEO Kang Tae Mu, who is managing the company that his grandfather founded. This is also where he meets Shin Ha Ri, played by Kim Se Jeong, a single woman who works as a regular employee. 

At the time, "Business Proposal" wrapped up the season with a double-digit rating, landing a nationwide viewership of 11.4 percent. 

Now that Ahn Hyo Seop returns to the small screen, all eyes are on his team-up with Lee Sung Kyung as they reprise their roles in "Dr. Romantic 3."

As of this writing, the medical K-drama has only aired four episodes but has managed to swoon over viewers with Chae Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin's charm.

To recall, the first few episodes showcased their deep connection, hinting that fans would see more sweet and heartfelt moments with the reset couple. 

In addition, their loveline in "Dr. Romantic 3" has evolved. After being in a love-hate situation in season 2,  Chae Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin are now a couple.

On top of that, they are now living in the same place.

Unfortunately, since season 3 features Chae Eun Jae's father as the new head of the trauma center, Eun Jae wants to keep her relationship with Seo Woo Jin a secret. 

What to Expect in 'Dr. Romantic 3's' Reset Couple

It's too early to tell if Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop will surpass the fame created by "Business Proposal's" lead stars, but one thing is for sure, the medical K-drama highlights not just the love story at Doldam Hospital but also Kim Sa Bu's mission to get the trauma center up and running. 

As for Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin's romance, viewers are hoping that their budding relationship will lead to something big in the future.
