In particular, during his guest appearance at the YouTube talk show "The K-Star Next Door," alongside his "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938" co-star Kim Bum, Lee Dong Wook revealed his preparations when he has upcoming kiss or shirtless abs scenes.
Whether he stars in a crime, fantasy, or romance series, Lee Dong Wook has more than a few kiss scenes with his leading ladies. Due to this, he even owns the title "The Best Kiss Scene Actor."
But as the "My Girl" star continues to ace his kissing scenes, people wonder how he actually makes the scenes amazing.
Lee Dong Wook then revealed that for a romantic scene to turn out perfectly, it needs to be refreshing.
"For the kiss scene, what matters the most is being unique," said the heartthrob. The veteran actor further explained that rather than doing the normal moves that most actors would do during a kiss, he changes it up. He said that he would try poses he wouldn't normally try.

Most importantly, the leading man communicates with his partner to make sure his co-star feels comfortable and approves of the changes.
"I can't just choose it on my own. I need the actress' consent. So we compromise."

Lee Dong Wook may be in his early forties, but he maintains a good physique that he proudly shows off in his K-drama scenes.
Lee Dong Wook revealed how challenging it is to stay fit despite his busy schedule.
His friend and colleague, Kim Bum, confessed that Lee Dong Wook works out so much, and it mostly takes three hours for the actor to wrap up. The the "Bad and Crazy" star then clarified that he no longer spends long hours in the gym.
"Every time I star in a drama or movie, I go topless most of the time. It's not easy to get in shape fast. Then I might as well maintain a body that I can go shirtless at any time."
